Isaac Bacher learned to play magic back in the fifth grade. Keldon Warlord was his favorite card until he realized it was terrible. It turns out that coolness-of-picture does not equate with card power level. Alas. Several painful lessons later, Isaac is still trying to improve his game across all formats and spike a tournament. Although primarily a limited player, Isaac also enjoys playing any sweet constructed deck that catches his eye. To that end, he is starting a new article series titled “Madman, Genius, or Both?” that looks at cool new decks and tries to figure out whether the creator is a madman, a genius, or both.
